Preparation for Flying Colours started in December last year where the very first concept and theme were derived by our school Principal, Mrs Cheng. Henceforth, the programme and the various performances worked towards the theme of transformation. Belief, is something very powerful yet lacking in today’s generation. Flying Colours looks at the lives of three siblings who are young and talented but lacking confidence in their own capabilities. When an unfortunate incident befalls upon their family, they need to band together and believe in themselves to unleash their full potentials. Like a caterpillar that transforms itself into a butterfly, they transform themselves and live out the power and talents within them.
During these 6 months of preparation, we see the commitment and resilience of our pupils. There were tears and laughter, moments of anguish and even disappointments. Even as the going gets tough, our pupils never gave up. Instead, they grew stronger and more determined to complete what they had started out doing. Some of them had even shown encouragement to their fellow teammates. This spirit of teamwork and excellence is truly commendable. Our pupils have truly been transformed in many ways. |
